40 hours per week.

We have a team of activities coordinators looking after multiple residents in several communities. It's a busy role. You need to be highly organised with good time management skills. A caring and compassionate nature is essential.


An Athena Activities Lead would be responsible for:

  • Leading our Activities Team to deliver unique, creative and interesting activities and events which resonate with and engage our residents.
  • Providing a high level of quality activities for our residents.
  • Always promoting dignity and respect.
  • Enabling as much independence as possible.
  • Working to the wishes of our residents and ensuring choice is offered.
  • Accurately and comprehensively recording all activities completed.
  • Engaging with residents in meaningful conversation and genuinely understanding their needs.
  • Reporting any concerns to line manager.
  • Responding to residents needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Working to the Athena Visions & Values.
