SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION - Providing technical leadership and support to the teams developing embedded RTOS and middleware products.

Developing technical solutions to embedded software challenges
Interacting with customers
Defining technical specifications
Assisting product development
Participating in internal and external audits
Mentoring and training engineers

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Low level embedded systems development in a range of hardware environments. Working at processor level eg Cortex M3, M4, A
Excellent understanding of software development life cycle
RTOS experience
C and Assembler

HIGHLY DESIRABLE SKILLS

Excellent understanding of software development within a safety critical environment
Safety Software Development to standards: DO 178B/C, ISO26262, IEC 61508, IEC 6230
Experience in FreeRTOS, SAFERTOS

Networking

TCP, UDP
