What you will be doing:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist in researching, designing, maintaining and testing end-to-end user experiences for our digital interfaces and portfolio of websites.

The role will require collaboration with our in-house team of web developers, product managers, communication and customer insights teams to champion a user-centred design approach; being the voice of our customers.


In this dynamic and flexible team you will have the space and support to be innovative and to champion your ideas to ensure the success of the team and wider Group.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Performing formative user research, summative user experience testing and evaluation throughout the project or individual work task.
  • Producing wireframes and interactive prototypes to depict proposed functionality to stakeholders, potential users, developers and other audiences.
  • Creating usercentric responsive designs for our multiple websites.
  • Managing the progression of multiple projects and ad hoc user experience and web design tasks.
  • Understanding and deciphering front end coding to help support the developers and UI design enhancements.
  • Working collaboratively with the creative team to monitor brand guidelines and collateral consistency.
  • Travelling between the Wolverhampton and Chatham sites as and when required
- ***In return for your commitment: We offer a base salary dependent on experience and location of between £25,000 - £29,000 and a competitive benefits package including:

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Previous experience in, product design, human-centered design or user experience role.
  • Proficient in Figma(preferred), Adobe XD or Sketch
  • Knowledgeable in creating wireframes, LoFi & HiFi mockups.
  • Great understanding of user research, information architecture and user journey
  • You have a keen eye for detail and place high value on design consistency
