Description

We are looking for a multi-skilled person to join our expanding team with an immediate start on a full time, permanent basis.

In particular, we work with Local Authorities and Letting Agents across Northampton, Bedford and Luton, attending to a wide range of plumbing and carpentry repairs.

Minor plumbing repair e.g. replacing taps, wastes and shower valves etc.
Minor heating repair e.g. replacing radiator valves, replacing radiators, and repairing pipes etc.
Repair or replace shower enclosures
Full bathroom fitting
Painting & decorating
Floor and wall tiling
Repair and/or lay vinyl flooring
Minor electrical works incl. replacing sockets and switches, installing light fittings/LED bulkheads, extending sockets etc.
Minor plastering works/hole repair
Basic carpentry incl. hanging doors, fitting door locks and latches, fitting skirting, architrave, laminate flooring etc.
Kitchen fitting (nonessential)
Any other reasonable activity commensurate with the role
Good communication skills and be able to relay repair details to office staff for quoting and billing
A problem solving approach to fixing existing installations
A friendly and personable style with customers and tenants
Own vehicle and be willing to travel between Northampton and Bedford (mileage paid at 45p per mile)
Be trustworthy and reliable
