Visiting Lecturer rate is £42.31 per hour (plus £7.47 per hour holiday pay)

We are looking to recruit a Visiting Lecturer on an hourly-paid basis to support curriculum development for a new BA in Games Design.

Duties include preparation of programme materials and procurement of guest speakers and placement hosts ready for key validation events in October and December 2023.

We are particularly keen to hear from applicants with professional industry experience in end-to-end video game development. Previous teaching or training experience within Education and/or work-based learning is desirable but not essential.

Duties may include:

Supporting the design of teaching, learning and assessment for the new BA programme
Advising a working group on hardware and software procurement
Sourcing placement hosts and guest speakers
Representing the new programme at internal and recruitment events
