A fantastic opportunity exists for a highly skilled administrator to join our Bursary team.


The Finance Administrator will provide highly organised and comprehensive financial, secretarial and administrative support to the Finance Manager and Bursar.

This varied position requires excellent Microsoft office skills, a confidential manner, efficiency, good organisational skills and the ability to multi task.


Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters
  • Maintain and prepare information for termly fees for the main school and nursery to enable fee invoices to be sent out to parents in a timely manner.
  • Issue invoices for all other income streams, including lettings, livery etc
  • Post disbursements
  • Assist the Finance Manager with debt control
  • Ensure all transactions are coded correctly and entered onto the school's accounting system
  • Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy
  • Assist the Finance Manager with the overall financial planning process as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required
  • Plan, organise and manage own workload
  • To respond to any enquiries received from parents, suppliers and staff in a timely, professional and friendly manner
  • Establishing and maintaining filing systems as appropriate in agreement with the Finance Manager.
  • To answer incoming and internal calls, dealing with requests and enquiries and taking messages as required.
  • Participate in training and other learning activities as required.

Hours of Work
32 to 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday

52 weeks of the year


Holidays
25 days plus Statutory holidays

Work Location - In person

Expected start date - as soon as possible
