This is your opportunity to join a successful customer service team based in Rushden.

We are now interested in meeting with individuals who really put the customer at the heart of everything they do with a desire to be part of a growing department.


We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor role offered on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2024, based in our Rushden office 5 days per week, with an option available for hybrid working on a 60% office vs 40% home basis after a few months settling into the role.

The role is basis 36.25hrs per week and situated close to both the A45 and A16, making us easily commutable from many surrounding locations.

Our Rushden office provides a comfortable working environment with excellent amenities - Rushden Lakes shopping centre being close by and free parking on site.

The goal for the Customer Services team is delivering excellent support to those that contact us each day.

We are made up of diverse individuals who all bring different skill sets coming together to deliver a heartfelt service to those we work with.


What will you be doing?

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be integral in showcasing how Longhurst Group really lives its values. As a touch point for our customer you will directly help to improve lives through;

  • Act as the first point of contact for our customers and stakeholders, proactively dealing with their queries at source.
  • Taking phone queries from customers and other stakeholders.
  • Using an inquisitive approach to understand the customer query.
  • Providing a heartfelt service to each customer you support.
  • Collaborate and develop positive working relationships with both internal and external teams to provide solutions to our customers.
