After School Club Leader

Location:
West Midlands - Birmingham (Impact Mentors are expected to travel up to 60 minutes travel from home address to school locations)


Salary:
Hourly rate £ £12.30


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday 3PM 5PM
  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 3PM 5PM
As a After School Club Leader you'll be directly and positively impacting the lives of young people. Our After School Club Leader are responsible for delivering a range of sports activities.


You will work with all staff to ensure and provide care, play opportunities and activities in a homely, nurturing, and safe environment, with regard to the individual development needs of the children.

The main objectives and responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Deliver Multi Sports sessions.
  • Deliver Dance sessions
  • Build up children confidence using sports.
  • Work closely with the Mentor Supervisor to regularly assess and develop your skills, ensuring focus on personal development.

About You

  • Experience working in a school environment (essential)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience coaching sports (essential)
  • Multi Sports qualifications (essential)
  • A passion for working with young people (essential)
  • Positive attitude and high energy when approaching your work (essential)
  • Ability to manage change and to adapt to unexpected demands and resilience to working in challenging environments (essential)
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of individuals (essential)
  • Willingness to travel up to 60 minutes to programme locations and access to your own mode of transport (essential)
  • Knowledge of relevant policies including safeguarding, health and safety, data protection, etc (desirable)
  • Experience of working in the school environment (desirable)
  • Knowledge of sports and dance (desirable)
  • Willing to undertake further training for personal development (desirable)
