We are actively looking to appoint a Yard Assistant to join our successful team in our Leigh branch.

If you are a hardworking, flexible individual who can work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service, this may be the right opportunity for you IPAF preferred but not essential.

Yard Assistant

Your job

In this role as a yard/workshop Assistant some of the duties involve:

  • Pick & prepare powered access for loading
  • Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Working outdoors in all weathers
  • Ensuring the yard & Workshop is kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Cleaning up any spills / sweeping the yard/workshop area
  • Washing down vehicles/plant/trucks
  • Taking deliveries
  • Stock checks
Job Requirements


Required:

  • Excellent communication skills and some customer service skills
  • Literacy & Numeracy
  • A hardworking & helpful individual to train in all aspects of our operation
  • An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Leigh WN7 3FZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
