Junior Warehouse Operative
Salary around £23,000 per annum - salary will be based on age, experience and qualifications.

Location:
Rochford, Essex

Permanent position

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm

Chatham Glyn Fabrics has a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative, the role will be based in our warehouse in Rochford, Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

To prepare orders, this includes the accurate picking of stock.
To make up pallets ready for collection.
To unload containers of deliveries, and load racking.
To carry out quality control checks and to count and record stock figures.
To receipt stock accurately and file paperwork accordingly.
Picking and preparing goods for collection.
To accurately locate stock onto system and physically into the warehouse.
Ensure that packages are correctly handled and stored to avoid damage.
To prepare orders, this includes the accurate picking of stock.
To carry out quality control checks and to count and record stock figures.
To be responsible for completion and prompt submission of all related paperwork and the provision of other information as requested.
To communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, other warehouse staff.
To be able to deal effectively and efficiently with queries and correspondence.
To be aware of and to follow all safety guidelines.
To ensure accuracy in all paperwork and delivery quantities.
To assist in other duties as reasonably requested by the Warehouse Manager.

:

Flexible, friendly and enthusiastic attitude required.
Ability to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines.
Accurately follow written instructions and SOP's.
Attention to detail.
Willing to perform other duties as and when required.

Be aware that as the job can be physically demanding we will expect applicants to be generally fit as there will be lifting involved.

This role would ideally suit a school leaver looking to get on the employment ladder as previous experience is not necessary, full training will be given in all aspects of the job.

We are looking for someone with a good attitude towards work, who is willing to learn and become an important member of our team.

Salary:
£23,000.00 per year
