What that means day to day

Lead and grow the QA capability across engineering with full accountability for QA processes and procedures
Create a world class global team, working with our people partners to grow and develop our talent.
Create and maintain the QA vision within Alcumus putting in place strategy for manual, automated and nonfunctional testing at various stages of our agile SDLC.
Prioritize and manage the usage of team resources in a matrix organisation to ensure that engineering squads have the right level of QA resourcing to deliver.
Capture and analyse metrics (defect rates, automation, coverage, and related data) to gain quality and performance insights for continuous improvement.
Develop and institutionalize quality assurance standards, procedures, practices, and guidelines that are designed to limit quality risks, improve effectiveness/productivity, and adjust with the marketplace technology.
Provide strategic directional recommendations for SDLC and Quality Assurance operations.
Cultivate relationships and respect for the Quality Assurance team with other engineering teams.
Work within development teams to support the successful execution of their missions; ensure QA requirements are represented at squad Standup Meetings, Retrospectives, and Planning
Represent Alcumus QA capability externally promoting our thought leadership.
Occasional national and international travel
