Are you an English teacher looking for a post from February / January at a leading and well run Secondary School? Perhaps you're tired of a long commute and challenging pupils?


Tradewind Secondary are looking to appoint an English Teacher able to teach to Key stage 3,4 and / or 5 for a long term Maternity contract for a popular and oversubscribed school in Tring, Hertordshire.


English Teacher - starting for February 2023 or sooner if available for handover

This school offers all teachers a manageable workload, positive work / life balance with 1500 'Good' pupils eager to learn.

Joining a team of 10 teachers you will hold full teaching responsibilities and be included as an integral part of the team from day1 Result here are consistently high although the demands on the disruption to learning due to COVID is still prevalent in Key Stage 3.

Classes are 25-30 in size and are mixed ability until key stage 4. We are looking to hear from experienced teachers or instructorslooking to take on additional responsibilities.

Requirements as an English teacher:

  • Hold a relevant and recent teaching qualification / QTS Status or have school / tuition experience

  • Posses clear and concise written and spoken literacy skills
