Our client, a successful and growing firm of Insurance Underwriters is looking for a Data Analyst Assistant to join their team.

This role offers the opportunity to grow and to develop your skills within a professional, while nurturing environment.

The role will involve duties such as:

  • Analysing data to support the business
  • Producing regular reports for internal and external customers
  • Ensuring data produced is accurate and presented to a high standard.
  • Instigating and carrying out investigations in trends and opportunities
  • Being involved in the rate review process and communicating changes internally and externally
  • Assisting with SQL warehouse management and housekeeping duties
  • Ensuring incoming data is uploaded and stored correctly
  • Generally supporting the business in order to achieve the best outcomes
  • Ad hoc duties as required

The right person for this role will:

  • Enjoy learning new skills
  • Have a keen interest in Analytics and Maths
  • Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot anomalies
  • Have good organisational skills
  • Have good communication skills
  • Possess good time management skills and able to prioritise work based on the business need
  • Be confident using Microsoft Excel.
  • Be familiar with programming languages, although full training can be given to the right person
Salary negotiable according to experience
