have an exciting opportunity for a
Learner Recruitment Officer to join the team based in
Brighton.

You will join us on a
full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a
competitive salary of up to £28,000 per annum + generous Bonus paid on started learners (£50 to £75 each learner) Hours are 8.

30 am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Mileage/parking paid

The Learner Recruitment Officer role:

You will be responsible for recruiting NEET young people for our Traineeships and Study Programmes (including but not limited to Health and Social Care, Business Administration, Customer Service and Digital Technology. This role will require someone who can work at a very fast pace. You will need to be someone who enjoys multi-tasking as your responsibilities will vary.

From developing relationships with appropriate agencies such as JCPs, Connexions, Local Authority, Schools, Colleges to actively recruiting and supporting new learners during the induction process where needed.

This role will suit someone who is prepared to go above and beyond to reach out and help these learners.

Excellent communication skills are a must


Day to day you will:


  • Provision of daily, weekly, and monthly reports to reflect Centre Recruitment performance against set company targets and forecasts.
  • Maintain and update records of outreach activity, information session attendance, conversions from referrals to confirmed starts and Learner numbers against potential Centre occupancy.
  • Attend and actively participate in Centre morning briefings and other meetings as directed by Centre Manager.
  • Identify, approach, and develop relationships with appropriate and relevant referral agencies including JCPs, Connexions, Local Authority departments, local schools, and colleges etc.
  • Offer initial Information, Advice and Guidance to potential Learners on the most suitable programme route available to support their progression.

What we're looking for in our Learner Recruitment Officer:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience of working with young people in terms of assisting them find employment
  • Working with employment targeted agencies such as JCPs, Connexions, Local Authority, Schools, and Colleges
  • Recruitment experience within the education sector (preferably AEB)
  • Relevant industry experience, which may include Sales (meeting company set targets)
  • Have strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Be able to engage and develop professional relationships with young people with potentially challenging barriers and backgrounds
  • Ability to establish ad maintain effective working relationships
  • Have strong organisational and administration skills
  • Be professional, ethical, and persuasive
  • Flexibility and commitment to high standards of customer care
