Monday to Thursday , Friday with half Hour lunch
Working as part of the Aldridge team, you will be delivering and collecting rental equipment to all Hospital sites within the Midlands and surrounding area, also covering STT & Birmingham & Coventry Community accounts.
The majority of the equipment you will be working with are pressure relieving mattresses & Bedframes, Supplied with an iPad and iPhone, you will be required to log all serial numbers of equipment, so a keen eye for detail is needed.
A valid driver's license is essential, as you will load your van at the local depot, and work from your van for the rest of the day, attending to any orders that come through to you.
As all installation requests need to be delivered within 4 hours, it is essential that you have a methodical and practical approach, to make sure that patients are not waiting long periods for essential equipment.
You will be able to use the van to get to and from work, so you must have somewhere suitable to park the van when at home.
The role does involve lifting, so you must be able to lift bulky mattresses for long periods, although equipment is provided to support moving the rental products around the hospitals.
Personality, enthusiasm, positivity and communication skills are essential in the role to help Arjo build strong relationships with our customers.
You will be the face of Arjo for our customers and patients.The skills you will need
- A practical approach.
- Ability to prioritize work and amend route plans accordingly.
- A positive and team oriented approach.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Driving License: Required to hold a valid UK driver's license.
- Enhanced DBS clearance: Required (at the cost of Arjo).
- Must be able to lift bulky mattresses for prolonged periods.
- Due to the nature of this role, there may be a requirement to undertake work outside of normal hours i.e. evenings, weekends and bank holidays and participate in the "On Call" rota.
- You will be required to drive a large van and hold a clean driving license (held for a minimum of one year) and be able to route plan effectively.
