In a nutshell, you will be responsible for:
Supporting the business within multiple functions across Supply Chain by providing valuable insights on efficiencies of the operation through data collection and analysis.
**What you are already great at: - Support Supply Chain leadership with accurately forecasting volume requirements to achieve customer service level and inventory targets.- Support in the delivery of monthly SIOP process with effective volume forecasting and demand planning.
- Provide data insights and strategies to ensure optimal stock holding and service delivery.
- Supporting the purchasing function with supplier performance measurement and reporting.
- Analyse excess and aged inventory and agree actions with relevant stakeholders with inputs from supply chain management.
- Review ABC categories regularly to ensure up to date.
- Review supply chain dashboard performance and work with relevant team members to review and correct. Monitor trends and agree improvement actions.
- Update MRP planning parameters if found to be incorrect or for new set ups.
- Update key KPI's that include but not limited to, days on hand, stock availability and OTIF, reporting and highlighting variances.
- Perform adhoc analysis on request, ensuring the accuracy of all outputs.
- Use data analytics to provide insights and drive KPI's.
- Design and Build reports and tools that simplify our supply chain processes and data flow.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and ability to build strong working relationships.
- Strong team player and collaborates easily with others, willing to help and learn from others and shares relevant information with the team.
- Able to demonstrate a creative flair and solve problems.
- Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines.
