ECS Staffing and Recruitment are currently working with an excellent hotel located in Cotswolds, who have an exciting new opportunity that has become available for a Part-time Handy/Maintenance Person (live-out role).


If you are a Maintenance Person looking for a permanent part-time role within a well-established family run business that offers a fantastic work-life balance, and also if you are interested in working as part of a small team and looking after a hotel in beautiful surroundings, then this is the perfect role for you.


Some of the key requirements are:

  • full UK driving license;
- own car or vehicle;
- having own tools is an advantage, but not a must;
- previous experience in building maintenance or similar;
- basic plumbing skills;
- bathroom grouting/silicone;
- skilled labourer.


The main responsibilities include:

- performing daily checks around the hotel;
- ensuring good relationships are built with internal and external customers;
- maintaining all hotel fixtures and fittings to ensure they are in safe condition and taking action when any unsafe situations arise;
- responsibility for maintenance issues within the hotel;
- ensuring monthly safety inspections take place;
- a trade is an advantage, but not a must;
- capability of working on own and part of a team;
- observation, as per 'Health and Safety at Work'.


Benefits:

- competitive rates of pay depending on experience;
- month gratuities (circa 1k+ per annum);
- working 2 to 3 days a week, shift pattern is 08:00 - 16:30;
- training and development.


Due to the location of the client, having access to your own vehicle is a must
