Trelleborg Polyurethane Products provides innovative polymer-based solutions for key industries within the Defense, Rail and Industry sectors.

About the Role:


Reporting into the HSEQ Manager, you will have responsibility for checking the quality of all products and relevant documents as well as production procedures.

You will be a firm advocate of quality for the business, possessing a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed to the role.

The goal is to ensure that our products are made of flawless materials with well-functioning equipment, ensuring that our customers will enjoy high-quality merchandise so that we can achieve long term success.


A self starting and motivated individual who takes pride in the accuracy of their work is critical for this role.


Other elements of the role include:

  • Read drawings and work instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies
  • Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.) as per guided by HSEQ manager and customer requirements.
  • Maintain records of testing, information, and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.
  • Assist with Non-Conformance Report (NCR) investigations
  • Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to ensure customer requirements are being produced accurately
  • Ensure products meet customer expectations based on company objectives
  • Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions

The Quality Inspector for this site will have:

  • Proven experience as a quality control inspector or relevant role
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Strong regard for quality assurance according to company standards
  • Good knowledge with industry products and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Presentation and reporting skills
  • Excellent record keeping abilities
  • Working Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001
