THE BUSINESS

Westray Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician to work within a high volume, fast paced environment.

The organisation in question is a global business.

As a Senior Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician you will provide both planned and reactive maintenance to various automated/semi-automated production lines.


THE ROLE
Leading planned and reactive maintenance to various production lines
Fault finding and diagnostic work
Defining issues - eradicating breakdowns
Leading continuous improvements
Updating maintenance records
Working with limited supervision, devising solutions to complex problems
Replacing parts within automated production lines in the form of complete asset strip down and repair
Diagnose breakdown problems
Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly
Carry out quality inspections on jobs

THE PERSON
Time served Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician
HNC Qualified
18th Edition
Leadership qualities
Multi-skilling with a Mechanical competency
Strong electrical, mechanical and electronic knowledge
Ability to deliver planned and reactive maintenance
Must have experience working within a high volume, fast paced production environment
Strong fault-finding capabilities - ability to use PLC's
Ability to maintain motors, pumps, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, etc
Good standard of IT literacy to update maintenance records

THE PACKAGE
The role works 3 shifts 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am. The role is a Monday to Friday position with night shift starting on a Sunday night. You will work a 39-hour week.
£18.54 per hour plus 18% shift allowance x 39-hour week £853.21 per week which equates to £44, per annum. The role comes with 25 days holiday plus stat per annum. There is readily available overtime paid at time & 1/2.
