Description

Ascot Fencing has a fantastic opportunity for a Manufacturing Operative / Delivery Assistant to join our team. In the Manufacturing Operative role, you play a key part in our production team by manufacturing timber and concrete fencing materials. The Delivery Assistant's primary purpose is to deliver concrete and timber fencing materials to customers efficiently and safely. You also play a key role in building and maintaining company reputation as part of the customer service team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Loading and unloading fencing materials from the delivery and fitting vans as well as customers' vans

Preparing and filling concrete moulds:

Tipping out and moving cured concrete products into storage:

Using hand tools to measure and manufacture timber products using both template jigs and freehand to custom sizes

Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and working environment.

Requirements:

Good level of physical fitness to carry out heavy manual handling
Reliability
Critical thinking skills to maximise efficiency
