Highways Development Control Coordinator

Client:
Local Authority

Location:
London
**Rate: £45-£48 per hour inside IR35
Contract duration: 6 months+ (on going extension)

Mix of office/ site and home working**One of my London based Local Authorities is looking for a Highways Development Control Coordinator to manage the technical, financial and legal matters for development control works on public and private highways.

Key responsibilities:

Provide data and drawings to maintain accuracy of asset inventory

Draft legal documentation, including S278, S38 & S106 agreements

Assess Construction Management Plans and work closely with key external partners to enable development construction

Maintain a forward plan of projects, which is informed by a work breakdown structure, costs, income, resources and risk register

Experience:

Experience of highway asset management within a public sector environment

Experience of managing projects to agreed outputs and deadlines.

A relevant degree, professional qualification or equivalent experience
