I am currently representing a true British heritage brand who are looking for a Demand Planner


A very well known company with an excellent reputation both as a producer of quality goods and even more so as an employer.


As the Demand Planner you will create and maintain demand forecast models, both for products and customers, this will involve utilising both internal and external data.


This is an excellent opportunity to join the supply chain team of a business that actively promotes internally and encourages movement throughout the business in order to upskill individuals.


Responsibilities
As a Demand Planner, your role will include

  • Owning the demand and forecast planning process across the business
  • Ensuring cash is invested in the right inventory holdings
  • Using all available data and managing systems & intelligence to achieve KPI targets for availability
  • Review historical sales trends, prepare forecast data
  • Coordinating and liaising with the Sales, Buying, Customer Service, and Management teams
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports for the demand planning process and the forecast tables within AX for pack change process
  • Support the identification of Risks and Opportunities to the forecast

What we are looking for
Here are the key skills and experiences relevant to this role

  • Minimum 1 year demand planning or supply chain forecasting experience
  • A background in
    FMCG ideally food & beverage
  • Strong Excel & analysis capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills in order to work with Sales & Buying teams
  • Contingency planning & risk management skills
