Keysoe International LTD is please to be able to offer an aspiring apprentice the opportunity work and learn with the Grounds Team within our leading Equestrian Training center.
The site covers over 300 acres of parkland, paddocks and equestrian facilities.About the Role:
- To work with an assigned supervisor, to understand requirements for grounds maintenance across full site.
- Use of mowers, strimmer's and other equipment to maintain site appearance, training to be provided.
- Essential tidying including litter picking, bin emptying and bulk waste clearance
- Opportunity for training to use large grounds machinery across the estate including JCB, Ride on mower, Tractors and Sprayers
- Training provided for arena maintenance
- Undertake general maintenance of machinery and equipment when trained to do so
- Ensure health and safety for all on site is in line with compliance.
- Liaise with Line Manager regarding works needed for completion and ideas for improvements around Keysoe
- Work alongside contractors to understand external services
- Provide high class customer service to all Keysoe visitors
- Ad Hoc work around Keysoe where required
About You:
- Keen to learn new skills, demonstrates the right attitude towards new skills
- Enjoys working with machines
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to use own initiative
- Works well within a team
- DBS check to be completed
