Purchase Ledger Clerk
circa £25,000 to £28,000

City centre Manchester


We are currently looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a friendly Finance Team, based in Manchester City Centre on a full-time permanent basis of 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.


Key responsibilities:


  • Processing high volume invoices.
  • Set up new supplier accounts, including banking details.
  • Contacting suppliers with invoice queries and following up on these queries.
  • Reconciling purchase ledger balances with supplier statements.
  • Sending invoices for authorisation

Required skills and experience:


  • Strong IT, numeracy, and analytic skills, with great attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise and work efficiently, with a positive and cando attitude.
  • Ability to build relationships, both with suppliers and internally, using excellent communication skills.
  • Preferred knowledge and experience on Sage Intact but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Extensive experience of purchase ledger in ahigh volume environment
  • Ability to use Office 365 software such as Word Excel, PowerPoint, One Drive.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to work on its own and as part of a team.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn and develop.

Job Types:

Pay:
£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
