Utilities BDM - HV iDNO Business Development manager

Salary/Package - £50k - £60k basic + Vehicle + commission/bonus

Alecto recruitment are currently working with an established owner of electrical LV/HV Assets for the commercial and industrial utilities industry

They are looking for an experience BDM to join their team, managing ICP clients and adopting their assets.

Core Responsibilities:

Prospecting within target clients and markets
Estimate and prepare electrical and utility proposals for a range of new build projects in line with client proposals
Ability to identify specific client needs and communicate them to the bid coordinators ensuring the delivery of compelling proposals
Securing profitable, deliverable orders
Forward forecasting of sales performance
Provide a high level of customer service at all times
Liaising with Clients, Consultants, Technical and Operations teams and reporting on levels of customer satisfaction
Developing and maintaining compelling relationships with all stakeholders
Maintain client and pipeline databases and electronic files
Contributing to the strategic business planning process

Key Skills and Experience:

Proven experience within sales or business development within the Utilities or Construction sector
Strong organisational and communication skills with experience of managing multiple customers
Must be target driven with focus on completion dates and timescales
Previously have managed a team would be beneficial but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long term relationships
Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
Proactive and motivated approach
Empathy with Clients' situations
Experience of using MS Office suite and inhouse databases
