An exciting opportunity to join team as a
Modern Apprentice Orthotics Administrator based at Gartnavel General Hospital.

Orthotics provides body worn devices to patients to help with their mobility, improve function or reduce pain.

We assess patients to decide on the correct treatment and can see patients as an inpatient in hospital wards but we mainly deliver service to out-patients in outpatient clinics across NHSGGC to both adults and children.

The Orthotic Administrator is employed to assist in the effective delivery of Administrative Support to the Orthotics Department Practitioners as part of the Admin Support Team.

Please note that this is a training post graded under Annex 21 Conditions* and will be paid at the Scottish Living Wage (2023/2024 rate).

Trainees will be appointed at a salary of £21308.

This post is aligned to the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Modern Apprenticeship Programme and therefore only open to those applicants aged 16 to 24 years (or 16 to 29 years for Disabled Applicants or applicants who are care experienced*), in line with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde's Widening Access to Employment Strategy and workforce projections.
