The Company


Our client, a well known M&E sub contractor, has an immediate requirement for a Mechanical Estimator to join their team in Berkshire.

With 3 offices based down over the South East of England and a £42m turnover, they are looking to take on the right individual with a strong technical background and positive attitude.

The Role


You will be responsible for:
To prepare and provide estimated costs of mainstream projects across a broad range of sectors
Make amendments or variations to existing contracts, projects and estimates
Providing completed tenders taken from drawings, scopes of work and specifications
Attend and represent the client in client meetings when required

Qualifications & Experience

5 years proven background history working in the Building Services Industry in a mechanical estimating role

Able to work on a variety of projects ranging between educational, commercial and residential sectors up to the value of £3m.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrationable knowledge of HVAC systems
Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
Computer literate and experience on estimating software
City & Guilds, HND or related degree
You will be required to travel between regional offices occassionally.
