Description
We have openings for time-served Pipefitters within our Structural, Mechancial and Pipework Engineering company. The Pipefitter will maintain, repair, and install pipes and other materials that carry liquids, gases or other materials. The Pipefitter will also install piping and tubing systems which may include various pipe sizes, valves, flanges and fittings.

This individual will perform various tasks such as layout designs, cutting of pipe and tubing, as well as be responsible for the performance of welding on equipment.


Responsibilities:


  • Observe safety rules and regulations. Repair faulty equipment. Install piping systems and fixtures. Lay out, measure, cut, thread, and fit pipe according to blueprints, design sketches, or verbal instructions. Build framework for structure and fabricate equipment. Oversee installation of equipment.

Essential:
Recognised trade qualification in relevant field (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds etc) (essential)

CCNSG Card (desirable)


Salary:
£18.00 per hour
