About this role


We are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Lead to join our growing engineering team and be a part of something exceptional You will be responsible for leading the quality assurance activities and ensuring that the software products developed by the organization meet the highest standards of quality using automated test scripts.

You will work in a cross-functional and agile engineering team alongside software engineers, product manager, designer, and delivery manager, all within a single team.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy and process relying primarily on automation
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts using industrystandard tools and frameworks
  • Ensure that all software products are tested and meet the required quality standards
  • Continuously improve the automation testing process and infrastructure
  • Communicate with stakeholders and report on the progress of quality assurance
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices and incorporate them into the quality assurance process
  • Proactively contribute to a team culture that values quality, robustness, and knowledge sharing
  • Research and evaluate new technologies that could improve the quality of our software

Who you are

  • You will have 5+ years of experience in QA automation & 2+ years of experience leading an automation testing team.
  • Strong experience with Web, Mobile App, API, Backend testing and building test infrastructures using containerization technologies such as Docker and working within continuous delivery / continuous release pipeline processes
  • Strong experience with automation testing tools such as Browserstack, Cucumber, Testcafe, Selenium, TestRails, Gridlastic, Gherkin, BDD, TDD
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in agile development environments
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, collaborative environment
  • You have keen attention to detail, are adaptable, and work well in a team
  • You are up for sharing knowledge to strengthen the ability of the team
  • You strive to be the best in the world at what you do and want to be surrounded by others who do so as well
  • You get nauseous when someone utters the phrase, "Think outside the box." But you actually do it
  • You have strong, wellinformed opinions but are open to being convinced otherwise through thoughtful discussion and debates with your teammates

  • You are incurably & insatiably curious. You probably know the difference between baking soda and baking powder (if you don't now, you want to go and find out, don't you?)
  • You know when more analysis will help and when it's time to move on
  • When you were a kid, you used to take things apart to see how they worked
  • Your friends and family come to you for product/tech recommendations
