The role
Our Stores Operative position's purpose is to deliver effective receipt, storage, and distribution of all stock and consumable items across all departments and locations at Stansted Airport. This will involve ensuring all Inventory data in the Asset Management System is up to date and accurate as well as highlighting any inefficiencies found in the current end to end process. Through the use of specialist Maximo and SAP systems, all transactions and orders will be managed, and this role will be responsible for receiving products from suppliers into stores. Administrative support to senior managers within Logistics will be required.
What will make you successful in the role?
As a stores operative, you will need stock control and management experience with demonstrable experience using Maxino/Asset Management systems. Strong IT/ Technical skills are required, with strong attention to detail to manage the volume of transactions we have at Stansted. A good understanding of Health and Safety standards in accordance with HSSE requirements will be beneficial to this position, and cooperation with your team on this will be key. This is a great opportunity for building relationships with 3rd parties and will offer the ability to assist passengers and airport users on their queries from time to time. We are looking for a helpful and flexible attitude, always maintaining professional standards
You must be able to hold an airside driving permit.
