Sure Recruitment Ni are seeking Food production Operatives to join our clent based in Randalstown.

To assist with the movement, storage and rotation of goods in and out of the Kitchen, pack freshly cooked products to preserve them, protect them during transportation and give them an identifiable and desirable appearance for display in our Stores and ensure all goods are correctly labelled and recorded.

Also look after the general upkeep and cleanliness of the production area.

GENERAL

Ensure that clean equipment and utensils are available as required.
Ensure full clean downs at end of shift.
Assist with cleaning up any spillages immediately.
To correctly remove all waste, including paper and cardboard casings, efficiently and responsibly and using the bailer as required.
Assist with stocktaking as and when required.
Ensure all equipment is maintained according to guidelines and report any faults or defects immediately.
To work closely with and assist other members of the team with other duties of a similar nature or level of responsibility as required.

Very good communication skills
Ability to work on your own, under pressure and remain calm
Ability to follow instructions and attention to detail
Ability to work in a team
Good coordination and dexterity
Computer literate and able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or handheld device

Desirable

Level 2 Award in Packing Technology
Food safety qualification
Pallet truck training
Previous experience of working in a manufacturing or food processing environment

Salary:
£10.32 per hour
