The
Purchase Ledger Clerk will provide critical support to the Finance team with regards to the day-to-day running of the Finance function.

This position will be a fully
office-based role with the flexibility to work within either our Leeds or Newton Aycliffe location.


What you'll do:


  • Maintain and update the ledger on a daily basis, match supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes to post onto the ledger, and enter invoices in query into the system.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and process reconciliation of supplier statements. Organise supplier payment runs for allocated accounts, and query chase and resolve.

What you'll bring:


  • Previous experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or equivalent role.
  • Experience dealing with a high volume of invoices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Experience using Sage would be preferred but not essential.
