The
Purchase Ledger Clerk will provide critical support to the Finance team with regards to the day-to-day running of the Finance function.

This position will be a fully
office-based role with the flexibility to work within either our Leeds or Newton Aycliffe location.

What you'll do:

Maintain and update the ledger on a daily basis, match supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes to post onto the ledger, and enter invoices in query into the system.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and process reconciliation of supplier statements. Organise supplier payment runs for allocated accounts, and query chase and resolve.

What you'll bring:

Previous experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or equivalent role.
Experience dealing with a high volume of invoices.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Experience using Sage would be preferred but not essential.
