Ciphr has an exciting and exceptional opportunity for a standout People Advisor to join our team within the People and L&D department.

Location:
The role is a hybrid position with 1-2 days based in our Marlow office. Some additional travel may be required with due notice.

You will be first point of contact for all employment related queries and your role will partner closely with management and employees across the business to provide expert employment law and HR advice, to build capability, improve performance, and ensure that Ciphr is a great place to work for everyone.


If you join us, this is what your day to day will look like:

  • Providing guidance on people practices and employee relations management as well as general Employee Benefits and payroll queries.
  • Maintaining indepth knowledge of changes in employment legislation and best practice
  • Working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Questioning and challenging others to get to the root of people and business issues
  • Analysing trends and metrics in partnership with the wider people team to develop solutions, programs and policies.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Knowledge of HR software and reporting via excel would be an advantage
  • Confidence and a selfstarter who is able to build strong working relationships with a variety of key stakeholders
  • In depth knowledge of HR best practice and employment law and strong experience in end toend ER case management
  • Experience of guiding leaders through effective organisational change
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • And ideally working towards chartered member of the CIPD or can demonstrate a relevant degree of knowledge and experience

  • HR Advisor: 2 years (preferred)
