We have a brand-new opportunity for an experienced Senior Supply Planner to join a senior position in our Supply Chain Team.

Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager for the Southern Cluster, the Senior Supply Planner will be responsible for developing and executing supply plans that meet customer demand while optimising inventory levels and minimising supply chain risks, effectively running the day-to-day activities of the Supply Planning Team.


This role sits as part of the 3rd pillar of the Supply Chain Group Structure of which covers the Customer Demand and Forecasting, Logistics/Distribution and Warehousing, Supply Planning and under pinned by a Sustainability Pillar.

This role is primarily site-based, with flexibility for home working as and when required.

This is what you'll actually do


You will manage the short term and long term capacity along with any risk that may impact service delivery and identify and mitigate potential risks related to supply chain disruptions.

The Senior Supply Planner will cover Daily / Weekly production schedules based on demand v inventory during any period of absence or holidays.

You will refine systems and methods to continually improve planning so that the most efficient plans are issued to the factory.

You will manage Finished Goods master data for Supply Chain from set up to delist ensuring the site always maintains data integrity and accuracy.

As Senior Supply Planner you will pro-Actively work alongside Demand and Forecasting team to ensure alignment with demand and upcoming promotional and delist activities and interface with Operations in order to maintain or improve manufacturing efficiency.

You will have responsibility for stock build campaigns, defining the plan and tracking execution for site. As Senior Supply Planner you will participate in daily site meetings and provide updates on supply planning activities.

You will work closely with Supply Planning Manager to provide relevant reports to drive monthly S&OP and Supply Review activities and to support day-to-day supply planning activities.

You will deputise for the Supply Planning Manager during periods of absence / holidays.

You will drive and implement personnel development programmes for direct reports and lead and motivate Site based Supply Planning team to achieve objectives.


Ideally this is you

  • Good knowledge of a supply chain ideally in a FMCG environment
  • Experience of production planning
