Main purpose of the job:

To work as part of a team to complete one off and regular cleaning tasks to provide a high standard of cleanliness and well-maintained school.

Key duties and responsibilities

General

To be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of a designated area and for maintaining high and consistent standards of cleaning tasks
To use initiative to perform cleaning and tidying tasks that are not specifically contained within the rota but require attention as part of maintaining overall high standards
To liaise with the Site Manager and other members of staff as required to ensure the cleaning rota operates smoothly around both school events and outside lets
To report cleaning supplies requirements and stock levels as required
To ensure Health and Safety, quality and general procedure compliance
To work as part of a team and support other members of the cleaning team to meet standards
To report any Health and Safety issues to the Site Manager or Senior Leadership Team

Other Duties

Other such reasonable duties as determined and delegated by the Senior Leadership Team or

Nexus MAT CEO consistent with the grade of the post and the experience of the Post holder

To have professional regard for the ethos, policies and practices of the school in which you support, and maintain high standards in your own attendance and punctuality.
