Restaurant Manager - Fixed Term Contract to 30 June 2023

Where you'll work:
This role is based at North Kent College's Tonbridge campus.


Your hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 38 weeks per annum (term time).


Your pay:

Salary of £18,219.13 pa pro rata (£25,000 pa full time equiv.) + Holiday Pay of £3,399.79 pa =
Total of £21,618.91 pa.


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Restaurant Manager to join North Kent College's Tonbridge-based Hospitality and Catering department on a fixed term basis, working as part of a close-knit team to manage the operation of the onsite restaurant, TheView.


The View is a vibrant College restaurant, staffed by enthusiastic students who are studying professional front of house and cookery programmes.

We're looking for a dynamic individual with plenty of experience and energy to head up the restaurant, workingalongside the Head of Curriculum to provide a structured training platform and experience for students to realise the skills needed for a career in industry.


This could be the perfect role for you if, amongst other qualities, you have recent / current experience of working in the food and beverage / restaurant sectors, and are looking to share your commercial experience within a training environment for learners,whilst retaining management responsibility for a working restaurant.
