Are you a Materials Planner looking to start your next contract role?

A Uttoxeter based business is looking for a Material Planner to join their team on a 9 month fixed-term contract.

You'll be responsible for ensuring the right materials are in the right place to service production.

It's high volume / high SKU manufacturing operation; you'll be working with a few hundred suppliers and 1000+ SKU's.

Day to day, you'll be:

Proactive in chasing parts with suppliers
Developing supplier relationships
Managing MRP system parameters, including PO processes, materials master data, materials planning processes
Working closely with the operations teams to get visibility of materials needs
Solving any inbound and internal materials availability issues

It's a very hands on materials planning role. You'll need a proactive approach, alongside great relationship building skills.

Salary is up to £40k depending on experience.
