We are looking for a motivated and detail-orientated
Finishing Operative to join our Finishing Team This role is based at our offices in South Shields and will be full time, Monday to Friday.

Your Role:

As a Finishing Operative, you will be the cornerstone of our customer relations.

Your responsibilities will include:

Handling customers print, including preparation, finishing, and packing.
Operating machinery, collaborating with inhouse and thirdparty providers, and maintaining equipment to a high standard.
Meticulously inspecting and verifying the quality of received items to ensure they meet established standards.
Execute various finishing tasks, such as collating, binding, counting, banding, and drilling.
Utilising both machine and manual finishing techniques to achieve optimal results.
Maintaining and troubleshooting finishing equipment to ensure seamless operations.

Your Experience and Qualifications:

Experience_: Previous experience in print finishing or related roles is preferred.

Skills_: Familiarity with relevant machinery and manual finishing processes is preferred but training will be offered. Warehousing experience is beneficial but not required.

Attention to Detail_: Precision and accuracy are essential for producing high-quality finished products.

Team Player_: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments.

Adaptability_: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes and willingness to move throughout the business to suite demand.
