:

This is a true generalist role covering every aspect of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, development and anything else you can think of (and probably some things you can't). You may have a specific interest in recruitment, wellbeing or L&D and there will be opportunities to get more heavily involved in these areas if you do

:

You'll work 2-3 days in the office and 2 days from home, but your office days could be in London, Nuneaton or at one of our Shacks across the UK. We're flexible about where you're based if you're happy to get out and about

:

  • Payroll work with the Head of People and Payroll Administrator to support the monthly payroll process, ensuring ADP is accurate and up to date and dealing with basic payroll queries.
  • Systems gain a really thorough understanding of our HR and Payroll system
  • ADP. Along with the People Administrator be the 'go to' person for day to day queries.
  • Reporting produce monthly KPIs on starters, leavers, absence etc. Gather feedback and analyse statistics on leavers, carry out exit interviews and identify trends. Most importantly, suggest ways we can make Loaf an even better place to work.
  • Engagement work with the wider People Team to deliver the annual Loaf engagement survey and action results. Take part in our programme of events that makes sure all of our Loafers are engaged with the brand. Support our internal comms, including helping to set up and run our quarterly staff meetings.
  • Benefits support the Head of People with implementation of any new benefits as well as ensuring accurate management of existing schemes such as Medicash. Prepare information for annual pay reviews and any reward schemes.
  • Make our customers go 'cor'
  • Act as a key point of contact for Loafers across the business, dealing with first level disciplinary and grievance issues, performance improvement and general support in areas such as absence management. Building relationships with Loafers across the business and being a Loaf culture champion. Support in the delivery of our wellbeing strategy.
  • Any other duties as may be required.

And what about you?

:

  • A proven track record of having worked as an HR generalist with a good working knowledge of employment law.
  • Really numerate with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Commercially savvy with a keen understanding of operating in an entrepreneurial business.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to build relationships with people at all levels of seniority and all areas of the business.
  • A proactive attitude: always on the lookout to improve how things are done, challenging the status quo and never accepting second best.
  • Really good IT Skills with a working knowledge of both GSuite, MSOffice, HR and Payroll systems (ADP would be great)
