We are recruiting a
Battery Service Operator to join us. This role is a mobile role covering UK with the head office at Stockport, Great Manchester.

We are a rapidly growing independent service provider of batteries for electrical cars and buses. We have technical support from one of the biggest battery manufacturers in Far East. As a growing company, we offer an exciting and rewarding career path.


Role & Responsibilities


As part of the servicing team, you will be expected to provide hands-on, mechanical assistance in the maintenance, installation, commissioning, fault finding and decommissioning of equipment.


This role will contribute to the project through battery assembly, testing and cycling measurement analysis and provide an understanding of the mechanisms of operation.

This role will have training and strong technical support from one of the biggest battery manufacturers in Far East.


Skills/Experience Required:

- knowledge of engineering principles and practices, safe handling of materials, battery assembly, and experimental procedures and techniques.

  • Skills in recognizing abnormal behaviour of equipment and methods of troubleshooting and repair.
  • The ability to work/handson skills in the operation and maintenance of equipment and quality control adherence.
  • Observe and control details to ensure quality, repeatability, and standardization of pouch cell assembly and testing.
  • Ability to problemsolve and provide pragmatic solutions.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Work effectively as a team with fellow colleagues on a daytoday basis.

UK driving license with no more than 6 points:


  • Mandarin speaking is preferrable

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
