An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time CAU Team Leader within General Surgery, to work at our Tunbridge Wells site with some cross site working.
You will be highly organised and adaptable and possess experience in administration and leading a team within an acute hospital.
You will need to be able to demonstrate leadership skills as you will be a key point of contact for the Medical Secretaries and Inpatient Booking Team.
As well as leading an admin and booking team, the job will include monitoring all General Surgery theatre lists, validation of pathways, liaising with consultants, nursing teams, and operational managers.
A good knowledge of the 18 week pathway and PTL is necessary to fulfill this post with a good understanding of wider NHS relationships between GPs and the Acute NHS providers.
You should be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, along with a flexible approach to duties.
You will need to be able to work unsupervised and be able to deliver to tight deadlines The applicant should be able to demonstrate an interest to learn new skills.

Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury.
Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country.
