You will be working with a company that cares about the welfare of both employees and Service Users.

We have an incredible team who support our Service Users to live in their own home.


You will be supporting our Service Users who have diagnosis of one of the following; Autism, Learning Disability, Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy.

This role is not an office based but rather working along side team colleagues.

You will be working along side the Registered Manager to ensure there is good delivery of Support.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Role Modelling
  • Support and Supervision
  • Complete rota with Registered Manager
  • Update Care and Support Plan when required.
  • Ensure that all staff are completing their assigned task on shift.
  • Support Personal Care
  • Support with Medication
  • Support to appointment
  • Support clean house
  • Support to cook meals
  • Support community activities (swimming, Pubs, Live music, Spa, etc)
  • Adhere to policies and procedures
  • Any reasonable task assigned by Management
Qualification/Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in Social Care
  • Previous experience as a Team Leader/Team Manager
  • Care Certificate, NVQ 2 in Health and Social or Equivalent.
  • GCSE or ability to speak and write English.
  • Ability to drive and hold a full UK manual driving licence (this is to ensure you can commute effectively to support our Service Users).
Salary/Benefits

You will be paid a basic salary of £23,000pa. Any overtime will be paid at £12ph plus accrued holiday.

You will receive pension contributions.

Hours

Working hours is 37.5 per week. You will be expected to work shift patterns to suite the needs of our Service Users. Working time could be between 7am and finish at 10pm. You will be expected to work every other weekend.

Holiday

You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday per calendar year.

There will be opportunity to work over time.

You will be given opportunity to develop within the company.

You need UK Right to Work (Working visa).

£23,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
