Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a Local Authority, based in the
East Midlands, which is in need of a
Principal Lawyer to join their
Commercial Contracts team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic Council and spearhead the direction of the department.


ROLE:
Principal Lawyer, Commercial Contracts team


RATE:
£55-£60ph umbrella


CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 months ongoing


LOCATION:
East Midlands (largely remote)


The Role

  • Handle your own Commercial Contracts caseload from start to completion. Also advise on Procurement matters
  • Assist other members of the team, when required, with their Commercial Contracts caseload
  • Provide some supervisory support to the rest of the team however this will be mínimal

The Person

  • Someone with 3+ years of PQE in Commercial Contracts and Procurement law
  • Someone who has worked directly for a Local Authority previously within a Commercial Contracts team
  • Ideally someone with knowledge of Company Structures and Governance
We also welcome referrals for this position, where a successful recommendation would be worth £250.
