Description

Role is based in the UK; ideally attached to the London, Derby, or Bristol office. From time to time, travel within the UK may be required


Full time role - 37.5 hrs per week (requests for flexible working will be considered)

AtkinsRéalis is looking to recruit a Senior Advisor, Internal Communications, to support the growth of our business and create a better future for our planet.

As an internal communications advisor, you will be an integral part of our regional team.

You will have the opportunity to work and be a part of a transformative, collaborative and energetic environment and support your peers in the delivery of integrated communications that are aligned with our global business objectives.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Internal Communications, and support key stakeholders across all aspects of internal communications.

Requirements:


_ Qualifications_:


  • Degree educated or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline would be preferred, but is not essential
  • Professional qualification from a relevant discipline would be preferred, but is not essential

_ Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in internal communications and/or employee engagement, ideally gained within a large matrix organisations
  • Evidence of delivering internal communication strategies, campaigns and plans which achieve desired business outcomes
  • Working directly with Leadership as an internal audience, building and executing leadership communication plans, while working with as stakeholders
  • Highly organised and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with demonstratable ability to think strategically and effectively plan content across multiple channels
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to convey complex topics in simple language to multiple audiences
  • Experience in sourcing and creating content for a range of online and offline channels
  • Confident to advise others (including senior stakeholders) on internal communications best practice
  • Able to build effective working relationships and influence people
  • High energy, with the drive and enthusiasm to make things happen
  • Selfmotivated and able to take ownership of projects with limited direction
  • Able to work effectively with ambiguity and manage stakeholders during periods of change

  • Knowledge of the markets/industries that the organisation operates in

Responsibilities:


  • Work collaboratively as part of a global team of internal and external communicators and marketeers working on both regional and global projects where required
  • Advise stakeholders on internal communications best practice and work with business stakeholders to develop, deliver and measure internal communications strategies, campaigns and plans
  • Develop strong relationships that enable you to fully understand the strategies, challenges and contexts of the stakeholders you support in order to effectively deliver relevant and targeted messages
  • Manage daytoday internal communications output, including the creation of news and the delivery of multichannel strategies and campaigns
  • Source and create content for a variety of online and offline channels, and develop and manage new channels as required
  • Organise and manage internal events
  • Support business change activity
  • Devise effective measure and reporting mechanisms and contribute to regular reporting on functional as well as tactical performance
