To support our growing workload and expansion plans, JPP Geotechnical & Environmental Ltd are looking to recruit a Field Technician to join our team at Whilton Locks, Daventry.

The role involves significant physical activity including manual handling as well as working outdoor on construction sites in all weathers.

• Managing the yard area, sample stores and assisting in the upkeep of site vehicles.
• Breaking out works and reinstatement of concrete/blacktop
• Completing hand excavations to expose foundations and take soil samples
• Collection of soil samples and materials from sites
• Groundwater / ground gas monitoring
• Participating in a variety of projects for both external clients and for other teams within JPP
• Working in the office 1 or 2 days a week completing CAD drawings (no experience necessary, training will be provided)
• Site supervision of minor works

• No industry experience necessary, however a CSCS card will be required.
• Computer literate
• Must be 21 and over and hold a full clean driving licence for manual vehicles.
• Must be prepared to travel UK wide and stay away from home on occasion.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
