Facilities Support Officer

The role will work with the Facilities team to jointly provide a comprehensive Facilities and maintenance service at the Passage.

Working closely with colleagues providing excellent customer service on day to day aspects of building related issues and reporting to the Facilities Manager.

You will be working within the Facilities team, providing Technical support across Passage buildings, including health and safety compliance, facilities management, environmental management, and the administration of business continuity arrangements.

To deliver effective, flexible and consistent support services for Facilities.

Duties:

Monitoring internal maintenance reporting via the INFORM maintenance database while also overseeing the performance of external contractors engaged in reactive maintenance.

Ensure H&S policies are up to date and liaise with relevant consultants on reviews, and ensuring new starters have H&S information and guidelines.
Monitor fire weekly tests and fire evacuations, with feedback reports to SLT after each evacuation.
Provide support as part of a team including the Facilities Assistant and Facilities Manager

Desired Experience:

Facilities / property management background.
Working knowledge of UK health and safety workplace regulations.
Experience of tendering maintenance and Facilities contracts.
Experience of working within a soft and hard services environment.
