Trainee Claims Handler

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our claims team, where you will receive training in different lines of insurance risk to become a Claims Handler.

You will ensure an accurate, efficient, professional, and a market leading claims service is provided to our Clients and Insurers in accordance with their needs and requirements.

Whilst providing support to the Claims Manager, Client Servicing Directors & Directors where required.

Responsibilities

You will be managing claims from across different products, such as motor, property & liability, but with the main focus on motor fleet clients.
You will be responsible for completing the first notification of loss ensuring all relevant information is captured to fully progress the claim.
You will acknowledge all new claims to both clients and insurers and keep clients informed, and ensure best outcome on each claim
Handle inbound and outbound calls from/to customers, third parties, brokers and accident management companies in a professional manner.
You will develop and maintain a full understanding of Acturis
You will produce claims MI/claims reports when required
You will undertake any other duties as requested by management on an adhoc basis
You will ensure personal CPD is managed and kept up to date by keeping skills and knowledge current
