Trainee Claims Handler


This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our claims team, where you will receive training in different lines of insurance risk to become a Claims Handler.


You will ensure an accurate, efficient, professional, and a market leading claims service is provided to our Clients and Insurers in accordance with their needs and requirements.

Whilst providing support to the Claims Manager, Client Servicing Directors & Directors where required.


Responsibilities

  • You will be managing claims from across different products, such as motor, property & liability, but with the main focus on motor fleet clients.
  • You will be responsible for completing the first notification of loss ensuring all relevant information is captured to fully progress the claim.
  • You will acknowledge all new claims to both clients and insurers and keep clients informed, and ensure best outcome on each claim
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls from/to customers, third parties, brokers and accident management companies in a professional manner.
  • You will develop and maintain a full understanding of Acturis
  • You will produce claims MI/claims reports when required
  • You will undertake any other duties as requested by management on an adhoc basis
  • You will ensure personal CPD is managed and kept up to date by keeping skills and knowledge current

Salary:
£10,000.00-£14,000.00 per year
