This is an opportunity to join London-based company working in the neurodegeneration drug discovery space, specifically working alongside the lab team managing statistical analysis of data including cell based imaging analysis.

This role is for someone experienced within the biological statistical analysis space ideally with experience in drug discovery.


What you'll be doing:


All aspects of protocol development:
study design, sample size calculation, randomisation and the subsequent statistical analysis.
Managing all data for statistical analysis and completing statistical analysis to a high standard within desired time lines. Delivering reports of data findings to the team.
Developing imaging analysis pipelines and diagnostic platforms.

Ensure accuracy and consistency of statistical tables, figures, and data listings as well as accuracy of report text, and consistency between summary tables in the body of reports and the corresponding source tables and listings.

Statistical method selection for each data set and report. Identify common flaws in result interpretation.
Monitor science team with regard to statistical methodology and provide appropriate training to less experience team members.


What experience you will need to apply:
PhD or MSc in Computational Biology, Data science, Statistics, biostatistics, bioinformatics or related field.
Cell based imaging experience in industry.
Previous track record of developing cellular biology analysis pipeline.
Proven experience of developing a diagnostics platform - ideally within neurodegeneration.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively internally with the team and externally with clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a lab team on many projects simultaneously.
