We are looking for an ambitious AP professional, who wants to work in a fast-paced, growth environment.

Reporting directly to the UK Finance Manager the AP Coordinator will be responsible for completing daily tasks related to managing the accounts payable functions for the North America portion of the business and will regularly interact with our vendors, internal procurement and finance team.

What you will be doing as our Accounts Payable Coordinator

Accounts Payable:


  • Working with the UK Finance Managers to maintain A/P performance levels.
  • Working with Accounts Payable software to ensure accurate matching of receiving documents to supplier bills.
  • Investigating discrepancies between bills, item receipts and purchase orders and working with procurement team and PO approvers to resolve discrepancies.
  • Checking freight invoices against the delivery details and working with freight team to resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensuring accurate coding of bills to correct GL, Cost Centre and Location codes.
  • Setting up new Vendor records and ensuring all Accounts Payable filing, and data management, is up to date and wellorganised.
  • Preparing Accounts Payable payment runs for approval by Group Controller.
  • Reviewing supplier statements and investigate payment issues while following our Accounts Payable policies & procedures.

Support:


  • Adhoc finance administrative duties
  • Filing completed job records
  • Providing cover for holiday
  • Other general tasks

Required Attributes

  • Ability to work quickly and multitask in a very fast paced environment.
  • Advanced problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to communicate data to a team in a way that makes sense.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Detailed oriented and with good organisation skills.
  • Demonstrable experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar with an aptitude for working with figures.
  • Acknowledgement on service levels from customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Viewed by colleagues as cooperative and effective member of the team.
  • Intermediate/Advanced level Excel.
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Attributes

  • Manufacturing Accounts Payable and/or accounting experience
  • Prior experience with ERP systems ideally Oracle NetSuite
  • Prior experience with Accounts Payable automation software
