IN2 consult are partnering with one of their larger cleints in Manchester who are looking to bring on an ambitious and motivater Assistant Management Accountant.

The company has recently been part of an acquisition which has allowed the company to grow massively
- both in terms of head count and processes. Your New Role


The Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for providing robust financial management, analysis, planning and reporting, whilst complying with all legislative and regulatory requirements to provide finance support to deliver goals and objectives.

Your duties will include but not be limited to;

  • Working as part of the Finance team and functional leaders to provide accurate financial reporting
  • Collating and analysing where required, information to support P&L and balance sheet
  • Supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner in the production of monthly forecasting for the functional area
  • Providing robust and accurate financial support and analysis to support decision making and business case development
  • Adhering to financial regulatory and legislative standards, expectations and financial controls
  • Monitoring and reporting on business risks within your supported functional area

What the Client needs from you

  • Fully AAT qualified, or Part Qualified Accoutant
  • Looking to gain a qualification
  • Experience in preparing and analysing accounting and reporting requirements
  • Experience of working in a finance accounting role in a retail environment
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively to meet changing priorities and demands
  • Ability to interpret P&L, balance sheet and cash flow data and information
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to gather, analyse and present data
  • High attention to detail
  • A selfstarter with a strong sense of urgency and delivery skills
  • Good understanding of relevant function, products, and accounting
